Details of Transportation Information 2017

Bexley/Berwick

Parents using transportation in Bexley/Berwick have a choice of two locations:

1) Beth Jacob Congregation, 1223 College Ave. The bus will pull away at 8:45 a.m. sharp, drop off will be at 4:30 p.m.

2) Agudas Achim. The bus will pull away at 9:00 a.m. sharp, drop off will be at 4:20 p.m.

Parents can choose either location for morning drop off. However, for afternoon pickup, campers must be picked up at the same location every day. Please inform the bus counselor on your child’s first day of camp. Parents are responsible for their children until the bus is ready to leave; do not leave your children with the bus driver or in the parking lot unattended. Please make sure to have someone at the designated bus stop for pick up on time.

Beth Jacob

  • Children should be waiting with their parents in the car or in the gated area of the playground.

  • Please park in a designated parking spot in the rear of the building.

  • Parents need to be prompt at the bus stops. Any camper that is not picked up from Beth Jacob at 4:30 will be taken back to the Lori Schottenstein Chabad Center in New Albany for pick up. If you think you will be late, please make arrangements with a friend or another camp parent to pick up your child.

Agudas Achim

In order for us to continue using the Agudas Achim parking lot we need to be careful to adhere to the following:

  • Please park in a designated parking spot in the rear of the building. Please don’t park in the alleyway or park haphazardly in the lot as you drop off your children.

  • Children should be waiting with their parents in the car or with their parents to left of the door. Agudas Achim has requested that children and parents should not block the door or central staircase.

  • Have your children use the bathroom before leaving home or wait until they arrive home in the afternoon. Entering the building should be limited to emergencies only. Furthermore, we have been notified that the building will be closed a number of days a week.

  • Parents who arrive early for drop off or pickup are welcome to wait in the playground. However, please make sure to clean up all garbage before you leave. Children can only play in the playground with adult supervision.

  • Parents need to be prompt at the bus stops. Any campers not picked up at 4:20 from Agudas Achim will be taken to Beth Jacob. Any camper that is not picked up from Beth Jacob at 4:30 will be taken back to the Lori Schottenstein Chabad Center in New Albany for pick up. If you think you will be late, please make arrangements with a friend or another camp parent to pick up your child.
